Itinerary:
You will be accompanied by me and Betty Mason. Betty is an experienced Dunedin guide with Tourism Dunedin.
>Departure – Meet outside Pier 24 for a 9am departure.
>In a comfortable bus we are going to travel directly to Oamaru and firstly to a surprise visit – a thermet morning tea in this inspiring unique setting.
>Travel a short distance to the private garden of Gloria and Ian Hurst- Willow Park.
>Enjoy a guided walk around the garden with a glass of bubbly in your hand. Be wowed by this stunning setting and fabulous garden.
>10 minutes away is lunch at the Award winning Restaurant Riverstone Café. Meet chef and owner Bevan Smith and spend time looking at their extensive thriving vegetable gardens.
>After lunch we will stop at the Oamaru heritage precinct. Wander through the galleries and buildings before leaving directly back to Dunedin.
>We aim to be back in Dunedin by 5.30pm
